Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson ruled out of Liverpool's trip to West Ham

Daniel Sturridge must wait to re-launch his season after he was left out of Liverpool's squad for the trip to West Ham. The England international, who has returned to full training after a hamstring problem sustained at Newcastle on December 5, has been pleasing Jurgen Klopp in his work at Melwood but the Liverpool manager is continuing to exercise caution. Klopp wants to be certain that Sturridge is at a certain level of fitness before he gives him the green light to lead Liverpool's line again and, for that reason, he will remain on Merseyside rather than travel to London with the rest of the squad.
