Montreal Impact desperate to keep hold of Didier Drogba but admit return to help former club Chelsea is out of their control

Image Didier Drogba may be set to leave MLS, as Montreal Impact, the striker's current club, took to social media to indicate that they are in talks with Chelsea about the possibility of the Ivorian returning to Stamford Bridge.

Jose Mourinho has claimed former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba criticised the club because he is looking to sell copies of his new book.Drogba, who scored 164 goals in two spells at Stamford Bridge, said the Blues were lacking leaders this season.
Speaking at the launch of his book "Commitment" last week, he said: "There are some facts that you can't hide.
"During my time at Chelsea we had a lot of leaders in the team, not only last year but during the previous seasons."We could take responsibility for a result and change the situation in bad moments, such as when there was a change of manager or when we had bad results."
But Mourinho said he was not concerned by the remarks and believed the Montreal Impact striker was seeking publicity.

Didier Drogba has taken a thinly veiled swipe at former team-mate Fernando Torres, hinting that the Spaniard expected to be “the king” at Chelsea.Drogba was the Blues principle starting striker when Chelsea splashed out a whopping £50 million on signing Torres from Liverpool, a record at the time.
