Rafael Benitez does not believe anyone knows what Cristiano Ronaldo said to Laurent Blanc after Real Madrid’s Champions League with Paris Saint-Germain in midweek.

The 30-year-old was pictured speaking into the Frenchman’s ear following Madrid’s 1-0 win on Tuesday, before being photographed winking at PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Reports in France suggested that Ronaldo told Blanc he “would love to work” with the 49-year-old, but Benitez believes there is no substance to the claims.
When questioned on the subject, the Spaniard called his press officer and whispered in his ear before stating: “What did I say? Nobody knows. There’s your answer.”
Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has since stated that the Portuguese will finish his career at the Santiago Bernabeu, and Benitez insisted he is focused and ready to play.

Cristiano Ronaldo has no plans to leave Real Madrid and believes he could even play for the club for another six years if he looks after himself.

The 30-year-old recently drew level with Raul as Madrid's all-time leading scorer after his Champions League brace against Malmo took him to 323 goals, reaching that mark in 400 fewer games than the former Spain international.

There had been speculation that could mean he felt his work was done at the Bernabeu, with a return to Manchester United or a move to Paris Saint-Germain touted as possible destinations.

However, Ronaldo, whose contract runs until 2018, has insisted it remains his desire is to end his career in the Spanish capital.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been presented with a record fourth Golden Shoe award in a ceremony on Tuesday, after scoring 48 goals in the 2014-15 season.

Ronaldo collected the award, given to Europe's highest goalscorer over a season, ahead of rival Lionel Messi, as the Barcelona forward managed a total of 43 goals, two less than his La Liga counterpart.
The former Manchester United attacker has won the award on three previous occasions, twice while at current club Real Madrid and once when leading the forward line at Old Trafford.
