Happy Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard was the talk of the South Coast after his two goals helped light up our 4-0 win on Saturday and as part of his celebrations at the end, he gave his shirt to a young Brighton fan.It was Hazard who opened the scoring against the Seagulls just three minutes into the first Premier League game of the weekend and he was involved in the outstandingly slick move that led to Willian doubling the advantage with only three minutes more played. Hazardextended that lead close to the end with a memorable solo strike with Victor Mosesadding the icing on what was a first win this calendar year, and a return to our true goalscoring form. It was finding the net twice so early on that was key to our flowing football according to the Belgian.‘When you score early you have confidence to play so it is more easy to move,’ he explained. ‘When the game is close, sometimes you don’t find space between the lines. In this game we did, we had confidence to play and try a lot of things that normally yo…

Guus Hiddink has said he doesn't know when Radamel Falcao will be fit to return

Image
Guus Hiddink has said he doesn't know when Radamel Falcao will be fit to return for Chelsea as the on-loan Colombia international continues to struggle with injuries and admits the team could face a striker crisis if Diego Costa or Loic Remy were to sustain injuries.Falcao has made just 11 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea since picking up what former boss Jose Mourinho described as "an important muscular injury" in November, and Hiddink confirmed last month that the 29-year-old had suffered a setback in his recovery.Last week ESPN FC reported that Falcao had flown to parent club Monaco for assessment of his condition, and the Ligue 1 club's vice president Vadim Vasilyev subsequently confirmed that the striker's loan would not be terminated in January as he still has "six to eight weeks to go" in his rehabilitation.Hiddink, however, remains in the dark as to when Falcao may again be fully fit and available for selection."He's just wit…

Guus hiddink heaps praises on Mikel

Image
Chelsea boss, Guus Hiddink, has praised John Mikel Obi for
bringing balance to the team following the 2-2 draw against
Watford. The Nigerian set a new milestone in the game.
‘Today I liked our intensity but we also have to look for a
balance in the team. It’s a very attacking-orientated team.
‘When we have a midfield with all creative players it’s
beautiful but sometimes you need a balance and I thought
John Obi gave us that balance. When you have the creative
players such as Matic, Oscar, Willian coming inside and
Cesc as well, sometimes you have to choose in a different
way,’ he said in his post-match conference. The Dutchman, who was overseeing his first game since
taking charge until the end of the season, praised the spirit
of the side while expressing disappointment that his team
failed to take all three points. The Blues had taken the lead through Diego Costa just after
the half-hour mark, but 10 minutes later Watford equalised
when Troy Deeney converted from the penalty spot…

Jose mourinho: league Tittle impossible, maybe tom cruise can do it

Image
Jose Mourinho maintains Chelsea can finish in the Premier League top four after Saturday's 1-0 win over Norwich City, but thinks defending their title will be "mission impossible."
Mourinho conceded the champions' title defence was over despite a narrow win against Norwich courtesy of a Diego Costa goal -- just their fourth win from 13 games this season -- but the Chelsea coach thinks Champions League qualification is achievable.
"It's a bit of a relief," said Mourinho, after Costa's first goal since the win over Aston Villa ended a three-match losing streak. "The pressure was there -- I was feeling, the players were feeling too. We coped well with that and we got a result which obviously we needed very, very much.

Marc Wilmots confirms Edén hazard is sick

Image
Eden Hazard is a doubt for Belgium's international friendly with Spain on Tuesday due to illness, according to head coach Marc Wilmots.
Chelsea midfielder Hazard, 24, played the full 90 minutes of Belgium's 3-1 win over Italy on Friday.
"Eden is sick," Wilmots told HLN, as quoted by the London Evening Standard. "He has some fever and a sore throat. He will remain until tomorrow in his room.
"We'll see how it goes, and will then have to decide whether it will be OK on Tuesday night for him."
Jose Mourinho's Chelsea, who are 16th in the Premier League table, are next in action against Norwich City on Saturday.
Hazard has made 12 league appearances for the Blue so far this season, recording two assists.

HAZARD: THE MOST DIFFICULT MOMENT OF MY CAREER

Chelsea ace Eden Hazard admits he’s struggling through the worst moment of his career.
Last season’s PFA and Football Writers’ player of the year has not been the same influential force and a string of disappointing performances saw him dropped from the side to face Porto in the Champions League last month.
“This is perhaps the most difficult period of my career.
There are always ups and downs. I’m not certain what the problem is,” he said.
“But we have to keep working hard to improve
. It’s always good to spend time with the national team, and even more so when things aren’t going well for your club.
“I know I can do better. I have to be able to help the team win.”
